Sunflower Oil

Sunflower oil is commonly used in food as a frying oil, and in many cosmetic formulations as a moisturizer. Ukraine and Russia were the biggest producers, accounting for more than half of the world’s export of sunflower oil in 2018. Within the past year, its global availability has dropped over 50%, creating a world-wide shortage of this commodity.

Soybean Oil

Soybean oil is a versatile vegetable oil widely used in cooking, food production, biodiesel, lubricants, and cosmetics. In 2020, global soybean oil production reached approximately 58 million metric tons, with major producing countries like the United States, Brazil, and Argentina accounting for the majority of trade.
